What EAGLE Registrations offers, and what it publishes
EAGLE Registrations can certify you to ISO/IEC 27001:2022, which ANAB added to its accreditation from 29 May 2026. It is not accredited for ISO/IEC 42001, the AI management standard. Its other accredited standards are ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 13485 and 15378, AS9100 and AS9120. Its ANAB accreditation dates from 1 December 1999 and runs to 1 March 2031.
EAGLE Registrations does not publish a price. It publishes no fee list, day rate or worked example, and its pricing material sits behind a form that asks for your details. It does not publish a complaints or appeals procedure, its professional indemnity cover or its liability terms.
EAGLE says 'Accreditation rules prohibit EAGLE from making specific recommendations', so it refers clients who need help to outside consultants. It says it was founded in 1994 by Chris and Bev Shillito, and names staff such as Chris Miller, a Certified Lead Assessor. We could not confirm its Ohio registration on the state's own register, which showed a maintenance page.
Strengths
- Long-standing ANAB accreditation (Accreditation ID MS-7266) held continuously since 1 December 1999 and running to 1 March 2031, across seven management-system standards.
- Added ISO/IEC 27001:2022 information-security accreditation from 29 May 2026, extending its accredited scope into data-protection-adjacent territory.
- Structural separation from consulting: refers clients to independent third parties through its Resource Provider Program rather than selling its own advisory services, citing the accreditation rule against specific recommendations.
- Named, credentialed technical leadership (e.g. Chris Miller, Certified Lead Assessor with 40+ years auditing) and external recognition (IAOB Gold-level certification body, SQFI Certification Body of the Year).
Things to check
- Holds no ANAB accreditation for ISO/IEC 42001 (AI Management Systems) and offers no AI-governance certification at all.
- Publishes no fee information, price list or worked pricing example anywhere on its public site.
- No publicly disclosed complaints/appeals procedure, professional-indemnity insurance level or liability terms.
- Its Ohio corporate registration could not be independently confirmed against the state's own register.
Common questions
Can EAGLE certify us to ISO/IEC 42001?
No. Its ANAB accreditation covers ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and other management-system standards, but not ISO/IEC 42001. It offers no AI certification.
Will EAGLE help us prepare for certification?
No. It says 'Accreditation rules prohibit EAGLE from making specific recommendations.' It refers clients to outside consultants through its Resource Provider Program instead.
Can I see EAGLE's fees before I engage?
No. It publishes no fee list, rate card or worked example, and its pricing material sits behind a form that asks for your details.

Notes behind each thing to check
- Holds no ANAB accreditation for ISO/IEC 42001 (AI Management Systems) and offers no AI-governance certification at all. (Its certification-standards sitemap lists 19 standards/schemes and none is ISO 42001 or any AI-related scheme; its ANAB Scope of Accreditation (MS-7266) lists only Quality, Environmental, OH&S, Medical Device, Aerospace and Information-Security (ISO/IEC 27001) management-system scopes.)
- Publishes no fee information, price list or worked pricing example anywhere on its public site. (Checked its homepage, About Us, Work With EAGLE and the gated Download-PDF resource page (20 Sep 2026); none contains pricing, and the resource page requires a lead-capture form before releasing any document.)
- No publicly disclosed complaints/appeals procedure, professional-indemnity insurance level or liability terms. (No 'complaints', 'appeal', 'insurance', 'liability' or 'Rules of Registration'-type content found on its indexed pages (home, about-us, work-with-eagle) as of 20 Sep 2026, unlike some accredited peers reviewed on this site that publish this outright.)
- Its Ohio corporate registration could not be independently confirmed against the state's own register. (businesssearch.ohiosos.gov returned an HTTP 403 'Website Maintenance' page on direct fetch, and Bright Data's Web Unlocker (zone unblocker1, 2 attempts) returned no usable content; a follow-up attempt to re-verify the OpenCorporates detail page also failed (returned an unrelated Tennessee LLC record), so status and incorporation date rest only on the OpenCorporates search-result snippet.)
| Criterion | Score | Evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Help when things go wrong | No publicly published complaints, appeals or surveillance/suspension-outcome process was found; ISO/IEC 17021-1 (which underlies its ANAB accreditation) requires such procedures to exist internally, but EAGLE does not disclose them externally on its site. | |
| Qualifications of the people who do the work | Verifiable ANAB accreditation (MS-7266) held since 1999 across seven management-system standards, with named credentialed auditors (e.g. Chris Miller, Certified Lead Assessor, 40+ years); precisely, this accreditation does NOT include ISO/IEC 42001 (AI Management Systems), so no AI-governance credential should be implied. | |
| What it publishes about fees | No price list, rate card or worked fee example published anywhere on the public site; pricing resources are gated behind a lead-capture form. | |
| Knowledge of your sector | Named accredited sector schemes across aerospace/defense (AS9100/AS9120), automotive (IATF 16949), food (BRCGS, FSSC 22000, SQF, PrimusGFS, GlobalG.A.P.) and medical devices (ISO 13485), with sector-credentialed staff, but zero specialism in AI or data-protection-specific certification since it holds no ISO 42001 scope. | |
| Independence from what it sells | Publishes an explicit statement that 'Accreditation rules prohibit EAGLE from making specific recommendations,' and refers clients to independent third-party consultants via its Resource Provider Program rather than selling its own consulting or software. | |
| Who carries the risk if the advice is wrong | No professional-indemnity insurance level, liability cap or client-facing liability terms found published anywhere on the checked pages (home, about-us, work-with-eagle, download-pdf). |
