What ISOQAR offers, and what it publishes

UKAS accredits ISOQAR to certify AI management systems to ISO 42001, so its certificates in that scope carry UKAS accreditation. Its UKAS schedule, issue 160 dated 4 June 2026, also covers ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 22000, ISO 22301, ISO 27001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001, so audits can be combined.

ISOQAR does not publish a certification price; its rules mention a day rate per audit day, but figures come only with a quote. It does publish training prices, such as £920.00 for its ISO 42001 internal auditor course. It publishes no cap on its own liability to clients and no insurance minimum.

ISOQAR's signed impartiality policy bars it from giving management system consultancy to any client. Its rules say appeals go to an independent committee, with a target of 30 working days. The company was called Alcumus ISOQAR Limited until 2 February 2026; its parent Alcumus merged with Veriforce in November 2024, and both are ultimately owned by Apax Partners.

Strengths

  • Live UKAS accreditation (Schedule 0026, Issue No. 160, 4 June 2026) explicitly covering AIMS to ISO/IEC 42001:2023, confirmed directly from the published UKAS schedule PDF
  • Published, named-signatory impartiality policy that explicitly bars the firm from providing management-system consultancy to its certification clients
  • Detailed, publicly available Rules of Registration document setting out surveillance, suspension, withdrawal and appeals procedures
  • Broad multi-standard scope (QMS, EMS, FSMS, BCMS, ISMS, AIMS, HSMS, EnMS) allowing integrated audits alongside AI management system certification

Things to check

  • No published price list or fee calculator; certification cost is only available via a bespoke quote after submitting company details
  • The publicly available Rules of Registration document discloses a client-to-ISOQAR indemnity obligation but no liability cap or professional indemnity insurance minimum for ISOQAR's own exposure to clients
  • The certifying legal entity changed its registered name from Alcumus ISOQAR Limited to ISOQAR Limited on 2 February 2026 alongside the 2024 Alcumus-Veriforce merger, which can create continuity confusion for buyers checking historic certificates

Common questions

Is ISOQAR's ISO 42001 certificate accredited?

Yes. UKAS schedule 0026 (issue 160, 4 June 2026) lists ISOQAR as accredited for AI management systems to ISO/IEC 42001:2023.

Is ISOQAR the same company as Alcumus ISOQAR?

Does ISOQAR publish its certification fees?

No. Certification is quoted on request, based on a day rate per audit day. It does publish training prices, such as £920.00 for its ISO 42001 internal auditor course.

Does ISOQAR also offer consultancy?

Not according to its signed impartiality policy, which says it 'shall not provide management system consultancy to any client'.

Notes behind each thing to check

  • No published price list or fee calculator; certification cost is only available via a bespoke quote after submitting company details (isoqar.com/get-a-quote page offers only phone, callback or form-based quoting routes with no published rates (verified 2026-07-17))
  • The publicly available Rules of Registration document discloses a client-to-ISOQAR indemnity obligation but no liability cap or professional indemnity insurance minimum for ISOQAR's own exposure to clients (Alcumus/ISOQAR Rules of Registration (CP12, Issue 9), section 15 'Indemnity' and surrounding clauses reviewed in full; no client-facing liability cap found)
  • The certifying legal entity changed its registered name from Alcumus ISOQAR Limited to ISOQAR Limited on 2 February 2026 alongside the 2024 Alcumus-Veriforce merger, which can create continuity confusion for buyers checking historic certificates (Companies House filing history for company number 02637608)
